The endometrium undergoes a dynamic proliferation of cells and vascular tissue under the influence ovarian steroid hormones. Implantation is an essential process in development pregnancy, where there close contact between embryo uterus, including supposition, adhesion, invasion. changes occur human endometrium, endometrial secretion changes, blood vessels, immune response, leading to uterine receptivity period. Cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme that plays role metabolic conversion arachidonic acid prostaglandins (PG). It known Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) key endometrium. COX-2 for blastocyst implantation decidualization. deficiency COX-2, but not COX-1, results multiple female reproductive failures (including defects). We reviewed literature on embryonal its potential mechanisms lead physiological implantation. This review aims identify roles successful process, especially decidualization, implantation, growth. regulation expression controlled by hormones (progesterone estrogen) through ENaC pathway regulate phosphorylation CREB transcription factor. presentation varies throughout stage development.
